Job summary

The role requires structured cabling experience, valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and comfort with ladders and construction settings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with structured cabling or low-voltage installation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in construction environments.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and secure low-voltage cable throughout commercial job sites.
• Assist other technicians with cabling installations and project tasks.
• Handle, organize, and transport materials throughout the worksite.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Climb ladders and work in various construction environments.
• Layout and install cable tray, wireway, buss duct, receptacles, switches, and related devices.
• Build telecommunications closets, including backboards, racks and cabinets, patch panels and cross-connects, fiber optic hardware.
• Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cabling as required.
• Terminate and test structured cabling systems, including 110 and 66 blocks and patch panels.
