Aufgaben

• Use welding equipment (spot, electric, or gas) to weld or tack weld pieces.
• Unite pipes from torch to tanks of oxygen and fuel gas; operate valves.
• Preheat work pieces for welding or shaping using a torch.
• Check pieces for flaws; verify against specifications with straightedge or templates.
• Signal crane operator to lift large work pieces; assist with positioning.
