Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversees work of apprentice tradespersons; directs unskilled and semi-skilled workers in carpentry, structural and general maintenance.
• Receives work orders and performs assigned construction, maintenance, and repair tasks for county operations; sets up signage to warn hazards.
• Performs carpentry tasks: repairs holes, builds shelves, cabinets, fences; repairs roofs and gutters; demolishes buildings; replaces tiles and fixtures.
