Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversees work of apprentice tradespersons; directs and guides unskilled and semi-skilled workers performing work functions in carpentry, structural and general maintenance.
• Receives work orders and performs assigned construction, maintenance, and/or repair tasks.
• Performs carpentry tasks such as repairing walls, building shelves and cabinets, and maintaining windows, doors and closers.
• Prepares surfaces for painting and applies paints; uses spray gun, roller, or brush.
• Responds to service calls for simple repairs and takes action to limit further damage to facilities.
