Job summary

Collier County Realty Corp seeks a dependable tradesworker helper to support plumbing and related mechanical tasks under supervision. You will assist with inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and installing water supply and sanitary systems, and help locate leaks and replace fixtures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least five months of related experience, fingerprinting, and a valid Florida driver's license. On-call work and variable shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Fingerprinting is required.
• Valid Florida driver's license with county vehicle endorsement(s) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and installing plumbing systems under supervision.
• Identify and help repair leaks in water lines and plumbing components.
• Remove and replace plumbing fixtures such as faucets, sinks, and toilets.
• Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing fixtures, valves, pumps, and related equipment.
• Respond to plumbing emergencies and assist with restoring service.
• Maintain records of completed work and materials used.
• Assist with coordinating with outside contractors and on-call shifts as needed.
