Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support our Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You will develop and update structural drawings, coordinate systems, and help produce accurate construction documents for hyperscale facilities nationwide.

You'll work with structural engineers and designers, using Revit and AutoCAD, and may lead small design packages or teams. The role offers hybrid work and opportunities to grow skills across data center projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models for data center projects.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions with engineers and designers.
• Produce clear, accurate construction documents and BIM models.
• Utilize 2D drafting and BIM tools (Revit) to support project coordination and quality reviews.
