Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support the Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team in the United States. You will draft, update, and coordinate structural drawings and models for hyperscale data centers, leveraging Revit and AutoCAD to ensure accurate construction documents.

The role involves collaboration with structural engineers and project teams, organizing work packages, adhering to project standards, and contributing to multidisciplinary data center projects

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models for data center projects.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions; produce clear construction documents.
• Use 2D drafting and BIM tools (Revit) for project coordination and QA reviews.
• Organize design work for small projects or work packages and share knowledge with teammates.
