Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support our Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You will develop and update structural drawings, coordinate with engineers, and help produce construction documents for hyperscale data centers across the United States.

You’ll use Revit and AutoCAD for 2D drafting and BIM coordination, contribute to project standards, and potentially lead a small work package.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field
At least 1 year of Revit
At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience

Responsibilities

Design hyperscale data centers and other mission-critical facilities.
Develop and update structural drawings and models.
Coordinate building systems and existing conditions.
Help produce clear construction documents.
Include foundations, structural framing, equipment support in data center projects.
Use 2D drafting and BIM tools, including Revit, for coordination and quality reviews.
Organize design work for small projects or work packages and follow project standards.
Share technical knowledge with teammates.
