Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support our Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You will develop and update structural drawings and models, coordinating with engineers and project teams to produce construction documents.

You’ll use Revit and AutoCAD for design and coordination, and may lead a small work package. Jacobs offers a hybrid work model and opportunities across US data center projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit experience.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models for data center projects.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions; prepare clear, accurate construction documents.
• Support project coordination and quality reviews using 2D drafting and BIM tools.
• Organize design work for small projects or work packages; follow project standards and procedures.
