Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Structural Staff Engineering Technician focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will support design teams, create and modify structural models and drawings using Revit, AutoCAD and MicroStation, and ensure deliverables meet BV standards.

Hybrid work options are available and the team collaborates across multidisciplinary groups. The role requires solid experience in structural drafting, familiarity with industry codes, and the ability to guide others

Qualifications

• Supports design teams by developing and modifying technical deliverables.
• Uses CAD/BIM tools to create and maintain drawings and models.
• Follows BV standards and quality program.

Responsibilities

• Functions in a project engineering technician capacity and supports engineering and design teams.
• Applies engineering principles to create moderately complex design concepts and solutions.
• Uses CAD/BIM tools to produce technical documentation, drawings and project deliverables.
• Provides guidance to other professionals to ensure quality across project outputs.
• Coordinates with design group personnel to exchange project information.
