Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. seeks a Project Manager to lead structural-steel projects from award to final closeout in a Central Texas environment. You will ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality are managed across shop and field teams.

You will translate drawings and contracts into actionable fabrication/erection plans while coordinating with estimators, detailers, shop supervision, and site crews to hit milestones and maintain customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven record running commercial construction projects through closeout.
• Ability to read structural drawings and specs and catch conflicts early.
• Hands-on control of schedules, budgets, and change orders.
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers, subcontractors, and crews under deadline pressure.
• Comfort on active jobsites with a strong safety standard.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Tekla or similar steel project systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural-steel projects on schedule and within budget from award through closeout.
• Translate drawings, specs, and contracts into fabrication/erection plans.
• Maintain margin by tracking cost, quantities, and change orders in real time.
• Keep detailing, fabrication, erection, vendors, and customers aligned on milestones.
• Resolve field issues on site sequence, fit-up, access, and safety.
• Provide progress, risk, and forecast reporting to leadership early.
