Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee erection projects from planning through completion. You will coordinate field teams, subcontractors and General Contractors, ensuring on-time delivery and quality installations.

The role requires strong scheduling, budgeting and communication skills, with a solid understanding of structural steel drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of structural steel installation, erection sequencing and field operations.
• Ability to read structural drawings and construction specifications.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors and project costs.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel erection projects from contract award through completion.
• Coordinate erection schedules, manpower, equipment and material deliveries with field leadership.
• Work closely with superintendents, erection crews, subcontractors and General Contractors.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, progress and profitability.
• Review structural steel drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Manage RFIs, change orders and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve scheduling, installation and field coordination issues.
• Maintain strong communication between office teams, field operations and clients.
