Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex steel projects from contract award through fabrication, erection and closeout. You will oversee budgets, schedules, quality and safety, coordinating detailing, material orders and erection sequences.

This role offers mentorship for junior PMs, a path to division leadership, and exposure to integrated fabrication and erection teams across a busy project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience leading structural steel fabrication and erection projects.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and contracts.
• Strong budget and schedule management.
• Excellent client and team communication.
• Knowledge of safety standards and industry codes (AISC).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple steel projects from contract award to closeout.
• Coordinate detailing, material orders, fabrication releases and erection sequencing.
• Manage RFIs, drawing revisions and change orders to protect margins.
• Provide regular progress and financial updates to customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with site teams to resolve issues and maintain safety.
