Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead steel construction delivery from a Central Texas office with regular site visits. You will own schedule, cost, quality, and customer alignment while coordinating with estimators, detailers, shop supervision, and field crews.

You will use Tekla, Trimble Connect, and our project-management system to run submittals, cost tracking, and closeout packages.

Qualifications

• Experience running commercial construction projects through closeout.
• Ability to read structural drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on control of schedules, budgets, and change orders.
• Clear written and verbal communication under deadline pressure.
• Comfort on active job sites and a safety‑minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver steel projects on schedule and within budget from award to closeout.
• Turn drawings and specs into fabrication/erection plans for shop and field.
• Track costs, quantities, and changes in real time and document scope changes.
• Coordinate detailing, fabrication, erection, vendors, and customer milestones.
• Resolve field issues on site: sequence, fit-up, access, and safety.
• Report progress, risk, and forecast to division leadership early.
• Leave a complete closeout package and secure future opportunities.
