Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Structural Steel Fitter Fabricator to join our on-site team. You will lay out, position, align, and fit fabricated parts according to blueprints, operating overhead cranes and track torches with strict safety practices.

You will ensure tolerances meet specifications and maintain a clean, organized work area. Responsibilities include interpreting complex documents, setting up jigs or assemblies, and collaborating with coworkers and supervisors to uphold

Qualifications

Superior level layout and math skills.
Complete understanding of pre-heat functions.
Ability to set up and use track torch is a plus.
Must pass all F.A.C.W. (Flux Core) - 3G.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Demonstrate a commitment to safety by following policies and procedures.
Attention to detail to meet high quality standards.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Lay out, position, align, and fit fabricated parts according to blueprints and layouts.
Set up and operate overhead cranes and use heating torches safely.
Check camber and sweep tolerances and correct as needed while following codes.
Set up complex jigs or assemblies and interpret complex documents.
