Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. seeks a Full Time Structural Steel Fitter Fabricator to lay out, cut, and assemble steel structures on-site, following blueprints and precise specs.

You will operate overhead cranes, perform heat corrections, and ensure safety and quality throughout fabrication and assembly. The role emphasizes strong layout and math skills, knowledge of pre-heat procedures, and successful completion of F.A.C.W.

Qualifications

• Superior level layout and math skills.
• Complete understanding of pre-heat functions.
• Ability to set up and use track torch.
• Must pass all F.A.C.W. – 3G welding tests.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align and fit fabricated parts per blueprints and layout specs.
• Operate overhead cranes and use cutting/ heating torches safely.
• Perform heat corrections, check camber and sweep tolerances on beams and shapes.
• Set up complex jigs or assemblies and maintain a clean, safe work area.

As a Full Time Structural Steel Fitter Fabricator at Kinsley Steel, Inc., you will play a crucial role in the construction process of structural metal products.
