Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a fabrication associate to support quality manufacturing and production projects. You will handle structural steel components, perform MIG welding, read and mark up construction drawings, and assist with surface preparation and finishing.

Responsibilities include operating lifting equipment, collaborating with crews, and maintaining tools and safety practices. Training for crane and forklift operation will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior fabrication experience preferred.
• Able to read labels and safety warnings.
• Must be able to obtain welding certification provided by Company.
• Ability to learn basic computer skills to communicate via email and track progress.

Responsibilities

• Everyday handling of structural material (steel beams, channel, square tubing).
• Proficient in MIG Welding.
• Reads and comprehends construction drawings and specs; marks up as-built status.
• Sand blast & paint structural steel material.
• Install G-Rib Metal & Trim and Snaplock Metal & Trim.
• Operate crane, scissor lift, and forklift (training provided).
• Capable of using everyday construction tools (tape measure, square, level).
• Work with other crews and assist or lead as needed.
• Maintain responsibility for tools and equipment assigned to the group.
