Job summary

Conrad Consulting in New York City is seeking an experienced Structural Project Manager to oversee multiple building projects from concept through construction. You will lead structural design, manage client relations, and advance toward senior leadership while remaining technically involved in design.

The role emphasizes ownership of projects, engagement with multidisciplinary teams, and progression toward Senior Project Manager and leadership roles within a respected NYC practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience and project management exposure.
• PE license preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• Experience with steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and foundation systems.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities for client and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple structural engineering projects from proposal through construction.
• Lead design and delivery of commercial, residential, mixed-use, institutional, and high-rise projects.
• Manage schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables.
• Review structural calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Act as primary client contact and coordinate with architects and contractors.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress widely.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Conduct site visits and provide construction support.
