Conrad Consulting is partnering with a respected structural engineering firm in North Bethesda seeking an experienced Structural Engineer stepping into a Project Manager role responsible for delivering projects, managing client relationships, providing technical oversight, and mentoring staff.

You will lead structural design and coordination from concept to construction, oversee scopes and budgets, and act as the primary liaison with clients and project partners, enabling growth and successful

Qualifications

• 7+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Active PE license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong building design and project delivery experience.
• Experience managing projects, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of structural engineering design and construction.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing structural projects from concept through construction
• Overseeing project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Leading structural design, coordination, and quality control
• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and project partners
• Coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
• Mentoring and supervising Project Engineers and junior staff
• Supporting proposals, client development, and new project pursuits
