Job summary

STRUCTURAL is hiring a Project Manager for the NY Metro/Long Island City area to lead complex, design-build construction projects. You will oversee the full lifecycle from preconstruction planning to delivery and drive collaboration across engineering, design, and field teams.

You will own communications with stakeholders, run client meetings, manage procurement and contracts, monitor subcontractors, and maintain budgets, schedules, and risk plans with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial or public construction/restoration.
• Proven track record managing projects up to $10M.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Primavera P6, BIM 360, and forecasting tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% or work on out-of-town projects.

Responsibilities

• Own communication across internal and external stakeholders—keeping projects aligned.
• Run regular team and client meetings to align goals, timelines, and progress.
• Manage procurement and contracts for subs, vendors, and materials.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, change orders, claims, and disputes.
• Build and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk plans.
• Ensure top-tier quality control in collaboration with designers and QC teams.
• Champion a strong safety culture aligned with OSHA standards.
