Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Nashville, TN is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to support field investigations, structural assessments, testing, and design tasks on a range of facilities.

You will work with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate existing structures, propose repairs, prepare technical reports, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
• PE licensure required.
• 2+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering, assessment, testing, and consulting services.
• Conduct field investigations, structural assessments, and condition evaluations of existing structures.
• Direct and oversee field testing activities including anchor pull testing, GPR, coring, and other investigative procedures.
• Interpret drawings, calculations, and field data to evaluate performance and identify deficiencies.
• Review testing results, develop findings, and recommend corrective actions and repair solutions.
• Assist with and perform structural design, repair design, and rehabilitation projects.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing observations, analyses, and conclusions.
