Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks a Structural Project Engineer to join the Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Raleigh, NC. You will support structural engineering and consulting projects through field investigations, assessments, testing, analysis, and report preparation.

Collaboration with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams will drive repair and rehabilitation solutions for diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building science, building enclosure systems, and construction practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with building codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering, assessment, testing, and consulting services.
• Conduct field investigations, structural assessments, and condition evaluations of existing structures.
• Direct and oversee field testing activities and interpret results for repair strategies.
• Review calculations, drawings, specifications, and submittals for code compliance and ECS quality standards.
• Prepare clear technical reports summarizing observations, testing results, analyses, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support business development and client communications.
