Job summary

ECS is seeking a Structural Senior Project Engineer to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Nashville, TN. You will manage structural projects, serve as a lead technical consultant, and collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, engineers, and owners to deliver practical solutions across various facilities.

This client-facing role emphasizes project management, technical execution, and mentorship of junior staff within a collaborative consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience and a PE license.
• Strong communication, project management, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering and consulting projects from setup through completion.
• Coordinate project teams and direct site activities with field staff, subcontractors, and senior managers.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule, scope, and budget objectives.
• Prepare and review proposals, change orders, budgets, and invoices.
• Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates, field activities, and potential budget impacts.
• Communicate project milestones with clients and advise on significant project changes.
