Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Nashville, TN is seeking a Structural Senior Project Engineer to lead structural consulting projects, manage field investigations, testing, repair design, and construction administration. You will collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams on rehabilitation and restoration projects.

This client-facing role requires strong project management, mentoring of junior staff, and the ability to develop proposals, budgets, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering, assessment, testing, and consulting services.
• Conduct field investigations and condition evaluations of existing structures.
• Interpret drawings, calculations, and specifications; oversee drafting as needed.
• Develop testing plans and direct specialized structural testing programs.
• Interpret testing results, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions and repair solutions.
• Perform structural investigations, forensic assessments, and condition studies.
• Perform design, repair, rehabilitation, and peer reviews of drawings and submittals.
• Maintain knowledge of codes and industry best practices.
