Job summary

ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Nashville, TN.

You will support structural engineering and consulting projects through field investigations, assessments, testing, analysis, and report preparation, collaborating with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical solutions for diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering, assessment, testing, and consulting services.
• Conduct field investigations and condition evaluations of existing structures.
• Direct and oversee field testing activities (anchor pull testing, GPR, coring, etc.).
• Review calculations, drawings, and submittals for code compliance and ECS standards.
• Prepare clear technical reports with observations, analyses, and recommendations.
• Assist with structural design, repair design, and rehabilitation projects.
• Coordinate with clients, staff, and senior leadership on project status.
