ECS Group of Companies in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to support field investigations, assessments, testing, and design for a variety of facilities. You will collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate structures, address performance concerns, and deliver practical repair solutions.

The role offers hands-on field experience, mentorship, and opportunities for technical growth within a collaborative consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building science, building enclosure systems, and construction practices.
• Familiarity with building codes, materials, and structural or architectural systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering, assessment, testing, and consulting services.
• Conduct field investigations, structural assessments, and condition evaluations of existing structures.
• Direct and oversee field testing activities including anchor pull testing, GPR, coring, and other investigative procedures.
• Review testing results, develop findings, and recommend corrective actions and repair solutions.
• Assist with structural design, repair design, and rehabilitation projects.
• Prepare clear technical reports summarizing field observations, analyses, and recommendations.
