Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services seeks a Structural Engineer / Project Engineer to join our collaborative team in Arlington, TX or Houston, TX. The role blends hands-on structural analysis with project leadership, from concept through startup, with full-time, in-office requirements.

You will perform analyses, develop design bases, manage deliverables, and coordinate procurement, ensuring code-compliant, safe designs across disciplines. A Texas PE is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Working knowledge of structural codes (ACI 318, ASCE 7, AISC, IBC, OSHA).
• Preferred Texas PE license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with Plant 3D Structure and CADWorx is a plus.
• Office-based role requiring U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses and designs for equipment skids, platforms, racks, and foundations.
• Coordinate project scope, schedule, budget, and multidisciplinary deliverables.
• Provide QA/QC reviews and field support during construction and startup.
• Interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure code compliance and integration of geotechnical findings into designs.
