Job summary

French & Parrello Associates in Wall Township, NJ, seeks a Project Engineer to join our Structural Engineering Department. You will design and analyze steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems, prepare calculations and drawings, and coordinate with architectural and MEP disciplines on diverse building projects.

The role offers growth with senior engineers, participation in project meetings, and involvement in construction administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5 years of structural engineering experience in a consulting environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New Jersey required.
• Working knowledge of building codes and structural analysis/design software.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of structural engineering projects for commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and related documentation.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with senior engineers and project managers.
• Support construction administration activities, including shop drawing review, RFIs, and field observations.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Contribute to maintaining high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Engage in mentorship and progressive project responsibility.
