Job summary

French & Parrello Associates seeks a Project Engineer to join the Municipal Services Department at our headquarters in Wall Township, NJ. The role focuses on municipal infrastructure from planning through construction, offering growth within a leading Northeast engineering firm.

The successful candidate will lead technical work, coordinate designs across disciplines, and support permitting and construction administration.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• BS in Civil Engineering with 4–8 years in municipal/public infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and execution of municipal infrastructure projects including roadways, drainage, water and sewer systems.
• Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents compliant with regulations.
• Develop plans and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D and coordinate with project managers and senior engineers.
• Interface with municipal clients, regulatory agencies, and utilities to obtain approvals and permits.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and provide construction support and site visits as needed.
• Lead client meetings and public presentations; assist with schedules and budgets.
