Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) in Wall Township, NJ seeks a Project Engineer – Structural to lead design and delivery of commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. You will prepare structural calculations, coordinate with disciplines, and support design through construction.

The ideal candidate has a PE license in New Jersey, 5 years of structural consulting experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of structural engineering experience in a consulting environment.
• NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and delivery of structural projects for commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Assist in design and analysis of structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
• Coordinate designs with Architecture, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with senior engineers and project managers.
• Support construction administration activities, including shop drawings review and RFIs.
