Job summary

Stantec’s Irvine/Los Angeles offices are seeking a Structural Project Engineer to work independently on small projects and as a team member on larger projects under a Senior Structural Engineer. You will evaluate, select, and specify engineered systems or products for a project.

The role requires strong knowledge of structural design, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and experience with Revit and industry software. Join a firm that values sustainable design and client-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Professional Engineering license required; Structural PE preferred.
• Experience with modeling software (Autodesk Revit).
• Experience with industry standard Structural Engineering software (CSI, RISA, RAM).

Responsibilities

• Independently complete calculations and drawings for small projects.
• Development of job specific specifications independently for less complex projects.
• Coordinate with architectural, interiors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform Construction Administration duties including field observations, RFIs, submittal reviews, and change orders.
