Job summary

DeSimone Consulting Engineering in New York is seeking a Project Engineer to join our structural design team. You’ll contribute from concept through construction, applying Revit, Rhino, ETABS and SAP while coordinating with architects and clients to ensure design integrity.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Structural/Civil Engineering with relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of structural design/analysis experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, ETABS and SAP required.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for projects from concept through construction.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and documentation for design deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, clients, and design team members.
• Conduct field observations and site inspections under supervision.
• Maintain records of design decisions, calculations, and project documents.
• Support project planning and scheduling discussions with Project Managers.
• Apply structural codes and material knowledge to solutions.
• Review drawings to support quality assurance and accuracy.
