Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants seeks a Structural Practice Lead - Hydraulic Structures to grow our national Dams and Hydraulic Structures Engineering practice. Based in any US office, you’ll lead technical projects, manage clients, and mentor staff while coordinating with a nationwide network of engineers.

You will drive business development, prepare proposals, and oversee design, safety reviews, and rehabilitation analyses for dam-related projects, with opportunities for hybrid or remote work as offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional licensure (PE or SE) is required.
• Advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development for Dams and Hydraulic Structures across multiple offices.
• Provide technical leadership for dam safety reviews and structural analyses.
• Mentor technical staff and recruit to grow dam engineering capabilities.
• Ensure projects meet technical, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction goals.
• Travel to client sites and project locations as needed.
