Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal-Level Engineer to lead the Dams and Hydraulic Structures practice in the Southeast US. The role can be based in Atlanta, Kennesaw, or Midtown, with flexibility for other GA, AL, MS, LA, or TX offices.

Requires a Civil Engineering degree with relevant specialization and a PE license with substantial consulting experience. The successful candidate will guide technical direction, grow client relationships, and mentor staff while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
Advanced degree preferred.
US PE license required and GA PE comity within 6 months of employment.
NCEES Record for PE comity preferred.
10+ years of progressive consulting experience required.

Responsibilities

Lead regional business strategy for Dams and Hydraulic Structures.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to grow the Southeast practice.
Oversee dam safety, hydrology, geotechnical, and structural analyses and rehab design.
Coordinate marketing and proposal development, and prepare technical proposals.
Ensure successful delivery of heavy-civil and hydraulic projects.
