Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. invites a Principal or Senior Principal Engineer to lead the Dams and Hydraulic Structures practice in the Southeast US, ideally based in Atlanta, Kennesaw, or Midtown, with flexible regional options.

The role focuses on technical leadership, project delivery, and strategic growth across GA, AL, MS, LA, and TX. You will mentor engineers, guide dam safety analysis, hydraulics, geotechnical assessments, and risk evaluations, and collaborate with the national network to

Qualifications

10+ years of progression in consulting or equivalent.
Knowledge of dam engineering practices in the Region.
PE license and ability to work in GA.

Responsibilities

Lead business development within the Southeast US for dams and hydraulic structures.
Provide technical leadership across dam safety, hydraulics, geotechnical and structural analyses.
Mentor staff and assist with recruiting to grow dam capabilities.
Develop proposals, participate in marketing and client relations.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on complex dam projects.
