TIC_Craft in the United States seeks an experienced ironworker to lay out, assemble and erect structural steel per blueprints and codes. You will read specifications, position members, and coordinate with crane operators to move heavy components safely on site.

The role requires interpreting drawings, using hand and power tools, and following safety rules in a dynamic construction environment. HS diploma and effective communication with supervision are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or similar experience.
• Must possess working knowledge and ability to follow written and oral instructions with supervision.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit instructions and communicate effectively with management.

Responsibilities

• Read specifications or blueprints to determine locations, quantities, or sizes of material.
• Fabricate steel parts according to blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting; operate cranes or signal crane operators.
• Verify alignment of structural steel members using plumb bobs, lasers, or levels.
• Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Assemble hoisting equipment or riggings to move heavy equipment or materials.
• Bolt structures in place for riviting, bolting, or welding.
• Perform other duties on construction/industrial site per safety rules.
