Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Structural Heart Disease Program within the Heart & Vascular Service Line on the Newark campus.

The Advanced Practice Clinician will provide medical management and care coordination for structural heart patients in inpatient and ambulatory settings, collaborating with interventional cardiologists, surgeons, imaging specialists, and nurses to guide evaluation, procedures, and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Physician Assistant program and board certification as a physician assistant.
• License or license eligible in the State of Delaware.
• Prefer at least 2–3 years of experience in acute care; cardiology/structural heart experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Medical management of structural heart patients in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Coordinate care across hospital, clinic, and procedural settings.
• Engage patients and families in education and shared decision-making; contribute to program growth and quality initiatives.
