Job summary

MedStar Health's Structural Heart team at Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to lead patient coordination for structural heart procedures. In this outpatient-focused role, you will manage referrals, coordinate care with interventional cardiologists, and support a growing program through clinical operations and patient communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited NP/PA program.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience in Cardiology.
• Eligible for NP/PA licensure in DC/MD.

Responsibilities

• Intake and communication with new patient referrals.
• Minimum one day per week structural clinic coverage.
• Medical management and triage of patient issues pre- and post-procedure.
• Ensuring smooth flow from referral to procedure to follow-up.
• Administrative duties as dictated by clinical needs.
