Medical University of South Carolina seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the Structural Heart Program on a PRN basis. You will support a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings, focusing on complex valvular disease and transcatheter interventions.

The ideal candidate is board-certified, licensed in South Carolina (or eligible), with cardiology or critical care experience and strong procedural skills.

Qualifications

• NP or PA with board certification and SC license (or eligible).
• Experience in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, or critical care preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-acuity environment.
• Strong procedural and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide PRN clinical support for the Structural Heart Program across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings.
• Assist with evaluation, diagnosis, and management of structural heart conditions including aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation.
• Participate in pre-procedural workups, peri-procedural care, and post-procedural follow-up for TAVR, TEER, and LAAO.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, imaging specialists, and care teams.
• Perform clinical assessments, documentation, and coordinate care for optimal outcomes; educate patients and plan follow-up.
