Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Specialist focused on Stroke Prevention within its Structural Heart portfolio. You will educate interventional cardiologists and catheter lab staff on Amplatzer, Amulet, and LAA occluder devices, deliver clinical training, and support procedural coverage across a defined region.

Expect substantial travel to stay close with customers. The role requires a strong clinical background in cardiovascular care, 9+ years of cardiovascular experience with 3+ years

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of related cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years of Structural Heart or Electrophysiology specific clinical experience.
• Vendor credentialing requirements may include vaccination for COVID-19; accommodations can be explored with HR.
• Preferred: Life sciences degree or medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.).
• Strong clinical orientation and familiarity with interventional cardiology products and imaging.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and sales support through education of current and potential customers and procedure coverage within a defined region.
• Train interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff and ancillary personnel on Structural Heart products and provide technical support during procedures.
• Communicate product, clinical and market data to relevant stakeholders and support product marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to ensure case coverage and positive clinical outcomes for patients.
• Travel up to 50% or more as required by the role.
