Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Clinical Specialist for Stroke Prevention products (Amplatzer, Amulet, LAA Occluder). You will train interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff, and personnel on product use, and provide technical support during procedures.

Travel may exceed 50% and there is a strong emphasis on clinical outcomes. The role requires extensive cardiovascular experience, vendor credentialing compliance, and the ability to translate data into actionable clinical

Qualifications

BS/BA or equivalent experience.
9+ years of related cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years of which is Structural Heart or Electrophysiology specific clinical experience.
Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide good case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients.
Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.
Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products and inform them of latest product, therapy and technology developments in the industry.
Engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcomes to key messaging.
Meet with existing and potential clients to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions.
Maintain strong clinical orientation to influence diverse clinician types.
