Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist focused onStroke Prevention products to educate and support interventional cardiology teams. You will train cath lab staff, assist during procedures, and communicate product and market data to physicians and staff.

The role requires clinic-focused education and collaboration with regional teams to optimize case coverage and outcomes. The position may travel up to 50% and requires 2–5 years of related work experience with a strong clinical orientation.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years related work experience.
• Vendor credentialing requirements incl. COVID-19 vaccination.
• Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.).
• Experience with interventional cardiology products.
• EP/SH sales experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to ensure good case coverage and outcomes.
• Provide clinical support for surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education.
• Educate customers on merits and proper clinical usage of products.
• Discuss product, clinical and market data with stakeholders.
• Meet with health care providers to identify needs and propose solutions.
• Influence a variety of clinician personality types through clinical orientation.
