Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist to provide clinical and sales support for Structural Heart products across a defined region. You will train interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff, and ancillary personnel on usage, troubleshoot, and support procedures, translating product and market data into actionable clinical insights.

This role may travel up to 50% or more; it requires a strong clinical orientation and the ability to engage diverse clinician personalities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years in Structural Heart or Electrophysiology.
• Vendor credentialing requirements including vaccination considerations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to ensure case coverage and outcomes.
• Serve as primary clinical support for surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education.
• Educate customers on proper clinical usage and latest product developments.
• Engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcomes to messaging.
• Meet with health care providers to identify clinical needs and propose feasible solutions.
• Maintain strong clinical orientation to influence diverse clinician personalities.
