Job summary

M&M Talent Group is hiring experienced Structural Fitters for night-shift industrial fabrication positions in Houston. The ideal candidate will layout, fit, align, and assemble structural steel per blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, laying out and cutting components, fitting beams and plates, welding prep, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while following safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous structural fitting experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong measuring and layout skills.
• Experience working with structural steel.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Welding experience is a plus but not required unless specified for the position.
• Ability to pass required skills testing.
• Must be dependable and willing to work night shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Set up and position materials for welding.
• Perform tack welding as needed.
• Use torches, grinders, drills, measuring tools, and other fabrication equipment.
• Check dimensions, angles, alignment, and tolerances.
• Safely move and position materials using appropriate lifting equipment.
• Work with welders and other fabrication personnel to complete projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
