TYLin is seeking a Buildings Engineering Intern for our Los Angeles, CA office for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience across diverse projects, including new construction, renovation, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation of vertical structures.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a 3rd year undergraduate or graduate student in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a focus on structures.
• Completion of steel and concrete design classes preferred; at least one required.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.
• Familiarity with REVIT Structure is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing structural design and drawings for buildings from concept to construction.
• Perform field reviews and document existing conditions on sites.
• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Assist with computer modeling and hand calculations.
