Job summary

TYLin, a global infrastructure firm, seeks a Buildings Engineering Intern for its Los Angeles, CA office for Summer 2027. You will support project teams in developing structural designs for commercial, institutional, and residential buildings, from concept to construction.

• Current 3rd year standing in an accredited Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering program (structures focus).
• Completion of steel and concrete design classes preferred; completion of at least one required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing structural design and drawings for buildings from concept through construction.
• Perform field reviews and document existing conditions.
• Support project team with computer modeling and hand calculations.
