IMEG in New York, NY seeks a Structural Engineering Intern for a 10-12 week summer program. You will assist with analysis, design, and oversight of structural systems while pairing with experienced engineers and consultants.

This paid internship offers mentored real project work, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and exposure to commercial and institutional markets, including ESOP ownership.

Formación

• Strong interest in design consulting.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Skilled in AutoCAD and/or BIM software.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with structural design portions of projects per code and IMEG standards.
• Research project resources and assist with documentation.
• Support client relations, design notebooks, and permanent records.
• Coordinate design and schedules with architectural, electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines.
• Document design decisions and meetings; monitor progress.
