Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. invites applications for its 2026 summer internship season, focusing on our Structural service group for the 2027 Summer season.

Interns will support civil engineering projects, planning, design, and construction observation, with exposure to reports, plans, and cost estimates. Qualified students should be enrolled in Civil Engineering, have a 2.8 GPA minimum, be sophomores or higher with AutoCAD and surveying coursework, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program; related program from an accredited institution.
• Minimum GPA 2.8; preferred 3.2 or above.
• Sophomore or above with coursework in surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
• Must be physically able to work outdoors in varied conditions; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist on civil engineering projects involving planning and design.
• Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with construction observation, staking, and administration duties.
• Occasionally work on design calculations, writing specifications, and reviewing shop drawings.
