Bolton & Menk, Inc. is now accepting applications for our 2026 summer internship season, with opportunities in the Structural service group during the 2027 Summer. You will work with a team of professionals on municipal projects across the Midwest and beyond, gaining practical on-the-job experience.

As an Engineering Intern, you will assist with civil engineering tasks, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates, and participate in construction observation and related duties.

Qualifications

Enrolled in Civil Engineering degree program at an accredited post-secondary institution.
Minimum GPA 2.8; desired 3.2 or above.
Sophomore or above with coursework in surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
Valid driver's license and ability to use public transportation; reimburse business travel.

Responsibilities

Assist on civil engineering projects with tasks involving planning and design.
Assist with reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Assist with construction observation, staking, and construction administration duties.
Some opportunities may include design calculations and reviewing shop drawings.
