Job summary
Arcadis is seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to join our Resilience Water team in Charlotte, NC. You will contribute to planning, design, and delivery of structural solutions for water infrastructure projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to balance technical excellence and sustainability.
Required: a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, 5 years of design experience in water/wastewater, and proficiency with STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
- 5 years of structural engineering design experience in water/wastewater projects is required.
- Master’s degree and/or professional licensure (EIT/PE) are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate structural design concepts for water infrastructure projects.
- Perform structural analyses to support feasibility studies and detailed design.
- Prepare technical deliverables: calculations, drawings, specs, and contract documents.
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers for integrated solutions.
- Support project delivery with budget tracking, scheduling, and milestone coordination.
- Participate in site visits and client meetings as required.
